If God is Real, Why Does the World Look Like This?
That’s a fair question. We see injustice, war, sickness, and confusion, and it makes us wonder if anyone is actually in control. Some people assume the chaos proves that God doesn’t exist. But what if it’s the opposite?
What if the chaos proves we were made for something better?
Why do we even care about justice or beauty or meaning?
Why do we instinctively know that something is wrong with this world?
Where does that internal sense of “this isn’t how it should be” even come from?
The Bible says you already know the answer, even if you’ve never read a verse.
The Evidence is Built Into the World Around You
“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”
“The heavens tell of the glory of God;
And their expanse declares the work of His hands.”
Every sunset, every mountain range, every newborn baby is a visible shout from an invisible God.
The precision of the universe, the balance of the human body, the complexity of DNA—these are not random accidents. They are the fingerprints of a Creator.
So Why Do So Many People Reject That?
Because the truth makes us uncomfortable.
If there is a Creator…
Then we are created.
And if we are created…
Then we are not our own gods.
We are not in charge.
We’re accountable.
That’s the real issue. Most people don’t want God to exist, not because of science, but because of control.
You Don’t Have to Fake it Anymore
If you’ve ever doubted God, questioned what’s real, or been frustrated with life’s mess—welcome. You’re not alone.
But denial doesn’t fix anything. Ignoring the truth doesn’t change reality.
The first step toward peace is being willing to ask the right question:
“What if God really is there… and He wants me to know Him?”
