Salvation is not about religion, rituals, or rules. It’s about a relationship with the God who made you and provided a way to rescue you.
Many people spend their lives unsure of where they stand with God—or chasing the wrong answers. This lesson brings clarity.
The Simplicity of the Gospel
- “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…” — Acts 16:31
- “Whoever believes in Him shall not perish…” — John 3:16
The gospel isn’t complicated. God made it clear, accessible, and universal. It doesn’t require anything but faith.
What Salvation Is Not
- It is not about good works
- It is not about church membership or baptism
- It is not about feeling sorry or making promises to change
These things may follow salvation—but they do not cause it.
What Salvation Is
- Recognizing you are separated from God by sin (Romans 3:23)
- Understanding that only Jesus Christ paid for your sin (Romans 5:8)
- Placing your trust in Christ alone—not your own merit (Ephesians 2:8–9)
It is a one-time decision of faith that secures eternal life forever.
Faith Alone in Christ Alone
Faith is not a work—it is the hand that receives the gift.
- “By grace you have been saved through faith…” — Ephesians 2:8
- “He who believes in Me has eternal life.” — John 6:47
No rituals, no striving—just trusting Christ and His finished work on the cross.
Common Misunderstandings
- “I need to clean up my life first.” — You come as you are.
- “I’m not sure I have enough faith.” — It’s not the size of your faith, but the object of it.
- “I’ve sinned too much.” — Christ died for every sin, once for all.
Right Now, Right Where You Are
God is offering you eternal life—not someday, not maybe, not if you prove yourself—but right now.
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God…” — John 1:12
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…” — Acts 16:31
There are no magic words. There’s no formula. But there is a decision.
If you’ve understood that Jesus Christ died for your sins, and that faith in Him alone is the only way to eternal life, then right now, right here where you are—you can believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. Simply saying… “Heavenly Father, I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior.
That one moment of faith is enough. God sees your heart.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who believes has eternal life.” — John 6:47
Assurance of Salvation
- “I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish…” — John 10:28
- “These things I have written…so that you may know that you have eternal life.” — 1 John 5:13
You can know—not hope, guess, or doubt. God promises eternal security to every believer.
